Prince George's County is home to one of the biggest light shows in Maryland: more than 2.5 million lights along a drive through Watkins Regional Park. Here's our 2026 list for Upper Marlboro and beyond, with the dates, times, costs and addresses we checked in early November. Tap any photo to go straight to the event's page.

Prince George's County holiday events, in date order
Trot for a Turkey
When: Saturday, Nov. 21, 6 to 8 p.m.
Cost: $35
Good to know: Run or walk through the lights to help families in need.

Bikes and Lights
When: Sunday, Nov. 22, 5 to 7 p.m.
Cost: $5 per rider; kids in bike seats or trailers ride free
Good to know: Your one chance to bike the route, with more than 100 new displays this year.

Winter Festival of Lights

When: Nov. 27 through Jan. 2, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 per car, cash or card at the gate
Good to know: Open Christmas Day and free on New Year's Day. Wagon rides through the lights are $15 adults and $10 kids, booked online. They also collect hats, scarves, gloves and socks for local shelters.
